Heather Ryan

Heather was born in 1989 in Fairhope, Alabama and has resided in the Gulf Coast area for most of her life. Though she pursued a degree in psychology, she always had an interest in art and painted intermittently. When she started working alongside inspiring artists as curator and store manager at a local arts store in 2017, she was driven to delve into art on a more serious level. She is best known for her figurative paintings that often incorporate surreal elements to evoke a feeling or create a story. She also enjoys experimentation with different mediums, and creates collages and sculptures using found objects and materials. Heather currently creates full time.
